Job summary

BryceTech is seeking a Spectrum Engineer to support the Space Development Agency in acquiring and deploying space-based communications and transport capabilities. You will manage spectrum certification, prepare DD Form 1494, and coordinate with government and industry partners to ensure compliant operations.

The role requires hands-on DoD spectrum management experience, NTIA/ITU knowledge, and the ability to deliver technical analyses and briefings for senior decision-makers.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required with eligibility for continued access.
• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of related experience.
• Experience in spectrum management and the spectrum authorization process.
• Familiarity with DoD spectrum management tools and NTIA/ITU regulations.
• Ability to coordinate across government, industry, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Support spectrum certification and authorization for SDA space and ground systems.
• Prepare and coordinate DD Form 1494 and related documentation.
• Utilize NTIA/DoD tools (EL-CID, E2ESS, Stepstone) for planning.
• Develop frequency plans per NTIA Redbook and ITU rules.
• Analyze RF interference and coordinate with stakeholders to mitigate issues.
