Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks a Senior RF Spectrum Engineer to support spectrum management across DoD, IC, and civil programs. The role focuses on interference analysis, spectrum coordination, and regulatory guidance for complex space and ground systems.

You will lead small teams and mentor engineers while interfacing with program offices and spectrum agencies. Requirements include a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 8+ years of related experience, and the ability to obtain TS/SCI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant technical experience.
• Knowledge of ITU/NTIA/FCC spectrum management processes.
• Knowledge of RF communications systems and architectures.
• Ability to lead small teams of engineers and present results clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform radio frequency interference analysis and modeling of communications systems to evaluate spectrum sharing strategies and avoid harmful interference.
• Guide program design decisions using knowledge of RF communications and spectrum regulations to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support programs through spectrum registration and coordination processes.
• Coordinate with program offices, federal spectrum agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Mentor junior employees in spectrum management and engineering.
