Job summary

BryceTech is seeking a Spectrum Engineer to support the Space Development Agency on spectrum management for satellite and ground systems. You will coordinate certification, prepare Form 1494 requests, and work with NTIA/DoD tools to develop frequency plans and ITU coordination packages.

The role requires hands-on experience with DoD spectrum management, DD Form 1494, and interoperability across government and industry. A TOP SECRET clearance and strong briefing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance or eligibility required.
• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience with spectrum management processes and DD Form 1494.
• Familiarity with DoD/NTIA spectrum tools and regulations.
• Ability to coordinate across government, industry and contractors.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support spectrum certification and authorization for SDA space/ground systems.
• Prepare and coordinate DD Form 1494 spectrum requests.
• Utilize NTIA/DoD tools (EL-CID, E2ESS, Stepstone) for planning.
• Develop frequency plans per NTIA Redbook and ITU rules.
• Create API packages for ITU coordination and protection.
