Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a highly skilled Electromagnetic Spectrum Manager to support the MDA Spectrum Management Office. The role emphasizes spectrum lifecycle management, system certification, frequency authorization, interference resolution, and global deployment coordination.

Responsibilities include maintaining the Frequency Authorization tracker, developing DD1494 System Certifications, and coordinating requests with Spectrum XXI for current and future systems, while ensuring data accuracy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Active Secret Clearance or higher.
• Understanding of RF theory and electromagnetic principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and administrative support to the MDA SMO under the Specialty Engineering Director.
• Manage and maintain the Frequency Authorization tracker for all MDA missions.
• Develop and submit System Certifications (DD1494) using STEPSTONE and EL-CID.
• Coordinate and submit frequency authorization requests using Spectrum XXI.
