Job summary

HII Mission Technologies in Fort Meade, MD, seeks a Spectrum Certification Engineer to support the government with spectrum allocations and DD Form 1494/EL-CID processing.

You will coordinate with NTIA/SPS, review applications for completeness, and provide RF engineering guidance across the government acquisition life cycle. A Secret clearance and DoD spectrum experience are required.

Qualifications

• Supports the execution of the National Level spectrum certification process.
• Requires knowledge of RF engineering and spectrum management.
• Experience with DD Form 1494/EL-CID is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review DD Form 1494/EL-CID submissions for completeness and accuracy.
• Compare allocation bands with NTIA/ITU tables.
• Coordinate with spectrum agencies to guide coordination requirements.
• Verify system data with SPO Program Managers and Project Engineers.
• Submit applications to NTIA-SPS for certification of spectrum support.
• Prepare MC4EB guidance memorandums for signature.
• Prepare Host Nation Coordination Requests (HNCR) for COCOM RF equipment.
