Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a hands-on aerospace hardware assembler with experience in test equipment, data traceability, and precision measurement. You will build and test solar power assembly components, support environmental tests, and help maintain lab spaces and documentation in a fast-paced, team‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or AS degree with 2+ years aerospace assembly/test.
• Experience operating test equipment and recording data with traceability.
• Test article prep and post-test inspection experience.
• ESD/cleanroom/FOD compliance; basic metrology; NC documentation.
• Capable of using precision tools to measure tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Assemble solar cell strings and perform bonding, lamination, and rework per instructions.
• Operate solar simulators and IV tests; log data with traceability.
• Support environmental tests and post-test inspections; prep test articles.
• Assist with fixture/tooling maintenance and lab organization.
• Identify build issues and document nonconformances; contribute to process improvements.
• Collaborate with engineers to review designs for ease of assembly.
