This full-time, onsite internship provides hands-on software development experience within a space-focused environment and the opportunity to contribute to mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

• Full-time student pursuing a graduate degree in CS, IE, CE, EE or related field.
• Available for 10+ weeks full-time and able to return to school afterward.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on expertise with application design, software development and automated testing.
• Experience in Java, C/C++, and Python.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US government security clearance; US citizenship required.
• Academic transcripts required.

Responsibilities

• Develop software for space-centric projects.
• Participate with interdisciplinary team in ongoing research or technical programs with academic collaboration partners.
• Apply standard techniques to carry out prescribed scientific and engineering tasks.
• Analyze project software development processes for best practices and industry standards.
• Training and mentorship will be provided.
