Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation invites undergrad students to join the Software Process and Architecture Department (SPAD) in the Information Systems and Cyber Division (ISCD) in El Segundo, CA. The role is a full-time, onsite Software Engineering Intern designed to support a range of software-centric projects and research efforts.

You will work with Java, C/C++, and Python across projects, receive mentorship, and contribute to real-world systems while pursuing your degree.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled full-time at an accredited college/university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related program.
• Availability to work full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks and return to degree program afterward.
• Junior class standing completed by internship start date.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide software development effort to a variety of software-centric projects.
• Participate with an interdisciplinary team in ongoing research or technical programs with academic collaboration partners.
• Apply standard techniques and procedures to carry out prescribed scientific/engineering tasks.
