Job summary

Rocket Lab in Middle River, Maryland, is seeking a Security Analyst Intern to support the Security Team in education, risk assessments, network research, and physical security. You will learn through mentors, work on real projects, and gain hands-on experience across security domains.

The role requires enrollment in a degree program (criminal justice, national security, emergency management, or related field), a minimum GPA of 3.0, and at least one semester remaining.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an associates, bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree program in field of criminal justice, national security, emergency management, or similar.
• Must have at least one semester of school remaining post internship.
• GPA requirement of 3.0 is stated.

Responsibilities

• Work with mentor and security team to apply knowledge and grow skills.
• Assist with security education, risk assessments, and network research.
• Attend frequent 1:1s with mentors and supervisors for progress updates.
• Participate in tech talks and intern/networking events.
