K2 Space in Los Angeles is seeking a skilled RF test and measurement engineer to develop the RF infrastructure for high-power satellite platforms. You will work with RF, FPGA, DSP, software, mechanical, and electrical engineers to prototype and refine systems for SDR-based satellite communications.

You will lead antenna measurement asset development, qualify RF hardware through environmental tests, and contribute to cutting-edge RF systems that will fly in space over the next two years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of microwave/RF/antenna engineering experience.
• Experience with RF test equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzer).
• Experience with anechoic chambers and near-field measurement assets.

Responsabilités

• Lead research, design, and procurement of antenna measurement assets such as anechoic chambers and near field scanners.
• Qualify radiofrequency and antenna hardware through environmental testing including vibration, shock, thermal, and TVAC testing.
• Assist with design and validation testing for RF and microwave hardware from UHF 200 MHz through Ka band 30 GHz.
• Execute development and production tests to meet internal and external customer needs.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to integrate designs into the spacecraft system.
