K2 Space is building the largest and most powerful satellites, seeking an RF Systems Engineer to advance RF/GNSS hardware across missions from LEO to deep space.

You will design, test, and integrate RF and GNSS subsystems, collaborating with RF/FPGA, software, mechanical, and electrical teams to develop reliable systems. In year one, you will fly the RF systems in space and downlink payload data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in microwave/RF engineering.
• Fundamental RF knowledge and link budgeting ability.
• Proficiency with Python or MATLAB; RF test equipment experience.

Responsabilités

• Oversee RF systems on the satellite, including telemetry, command, GNSS radios, antennas, and link budgets.
• Serve as responsible engineer for flight hardware from design through integration and on orbit operations.
• Own acceptance and qualification screening via vibration, shock, thermal, and TVAC testing.
• Collaborate with internal and external engineers and vendors to integrate hardware into spacecraft.
• Own FCC licensing and ground segment compatibility testing and coordination.
• Lead vehicle integration and testing to ensure hardware reliability and payload deconfliction.
