Job summary

Amentum Space Exploration Division (ASED) is seeking a Controls and Instrumentation Engineer to support NASA propulsion test activities at Marshall Space Flight Center. You will work with senior engineers on test article controls, instrumentation, and data systems for space flight and test hardware.

The role requires a BS in Engineering (Electrical preferred), ABET accreditation considered a plus, and 0–5 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Electrical Engineering preferred; ABET accreditation preferred.
• STAR/REAL ID required for eligibility.
• 0–5 years of experience typical.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with NASA project customers to ensure mission success.
• Design, develop, install, and test propulsion and structural hardware and data systems.
• Review safety, design, and test readiness with stakeholders.
• Prepare reports and presentations to support ASED and customer requirements.
• Participate in safety meetings and technical reviews.
