Job summary

Amentum Space Exploration Division (ASED) is seeking a Propulsion Test Engineer to support the Marshall Space Flight Center propulsion testing program. You will help design, execute, and document propulsion tests for cryogenic and ambient propellant systems, while coordinating with civil servants and contractors.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with ABET preference and 0-5 years of experience.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required; ABET accreditation preferred.
• Educational requirement typically a BS with 0-5 years of experience.
• STAR/REAL ID is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, setup, and perform propulsion and structural testing on space-flight hardware.
• Participate in safety meetings, design reviews, and test readiness reviews as requested.
• Develop and deliver reports/presentations to support ASED and customer requirements via PowerPoint and other formats.
• Perform safety and certification training to support ASED and customer requirements.
