CesiumAstro is hiring a Power Electronics Engineer II to join our spacecraft payload development team. You will contribute across the entire lifecycle—from defining power system architectures and trade studies to detailed circuit design, PCB layout, verification, and manufacturing support.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering and 2+ years of analog/power electronics experience, plus hands-on testing with lab equipment and proficiency in Altium/OrCAD/Allegro/Xpedition and SPICE tools.

Formación

• BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
• Minimum 2 years of analog and power electronics design experience
• Experience with DC-DC converter topologies (buck, boost, buck-boost)
• Knowledge of voltage mode and peak current mode control for DC-DC converters
• Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools such as Altium, OrCAD, Allegro or Xpedition
• Hands-on testing with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, electronic loads, and signal generators
• Experience with SPICE, LTSpice, SIMetrix/SIMPLIS, PLECS, Simulink, MATLAB, MathCAD, ANSYS Q3D and SiWave, or HyperLynx
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
