Job summary

CesiumAstro in El Segundo, California, is looking for a Power Electronics Engineer II to join our spacecraft payload development team. This role involves contributing to the entire lifecycle of next-generation power electronics hardware for satellites. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in analog design.

Responsibilities include defining power system architectures, conducting trade studies, and supporting testing and integration efforts. We offer a competitive salary between $106,500 and $142,500, stock options, and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience designing analog and power electronics.
• Knowledge of voltage mode control for DC-DC converters.
• Experience with analysis and simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Support verification and integration testing of power systems.
