Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks an engaged intern to contribute to space systems analysis within the Enterprise Effects Division. You will work on analysis tools, collaborate with project teams, and support multiple projects across the Space Object Risk Department’s scope.

Minimum requirements include pursuing an MS/PhD in a technical field, availability for 10+ weeks, and aptitude in astrodynamics; TS clearance with SCI access is highly valued. On-site roles offered across multiple locations.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited college/university program pursuing a Master's or PhD in a technical field.
  • Availability to work full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks outside of university term and return to MS/PhD program after completion.
  • Aptitude in astrodynamics and related mathematics; skills in developing and using computer software tools.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to one or more focus areas of support listed above.
  • Apply and develop analysis tools and techniques as necessary.
  • Work routinely with department staff as part of the project team(s).
  • Tasking will vary during the internship and may include multiple, simultaneous projects.
