Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a senior leader to own all space product manufacturing, with end-to-end accountability for transitioning ten space products from engineering to scalable production. You will report to the VP of Manufacturing and drive productization, readiness, and operational excellence across the portfolio.

This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution in material planning, supply chain, and quality performance, aligning with Global Operations to standardize enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related technical field or equivalent.
• 10+ years in manufacturing/operations with 6–8 years of direct managerial experience.
• Experience leading space hardware manufacturing and transitioning products to production.
• Deep knowledge of space manufacturing standards (IPC J-STD) and mission assurance.

Responsibilities

• Lead space product manufacturing for a portfolio of ~10 products.
• Own manufacturing operations including material planning and scheduling.
• Drive transition from engineering to full-rate production with manufacturability focus.
• Collaborate with engineering to mature designs and implement build-to-print processes.
• Ensure compliance with space manufacturing standards and quality systems.
