Job summary

Neon Aero seeks an Aerospace Quality Director to build and scale our quality systems and team as we move parts from prototype to production. You will own product and process quality across development, manufacturing, and supplier networks, ensuring robust control and compliance.

You will partner with engineering and supply chain to improve design transfer, process readiness, and production readiness, driving accountability and measurable quality improvements while navigating the fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, manufacturing, aerospace, or related field.
• Experience leading a growing quality organization with direct reports.
• Progressive aerospace quality or quality-systems leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the quality function across development, manufacturing, supplier quality, and production readiness.
• Establish and maintain quality systems with strong process control and repeatability.
• Drive inspection discipline, nonconformance management, CAPA, and supplier quality improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to improve design transfer and readiness.
• Ensure compliance with export control/ITAR where applicable.
