Job summary

Muon Space is offering a remote summer Legal Internship in the United States. You will work with experienced attorneys on space law, government contracting, and export controls, contributing to regulatory research and commercial agreements while gaining hands-on exposure to regulatory policy.

Applicants should be enrolled in a J.D. program (1Ls/2Ls welcome), with strong research and writing abilities, and an interest in space or government work.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a J.D. program (1Ls and 2Ls welcome)
• Strong research and writing skills
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
• Genuine interest in space, technology, or government contracting
• Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain regulatory compliance matrices that track license conditions, reporting obligations, and procedures
• Support the broader Legal and Contracts team with research and administrative work on commercial agreements, government contracts, NDAs, and vendor agreements
• Conduct legal, regulatory, and market research and synthesize findings into clear written summaries and recommendations
• Assist with additional legal, corporate and regulatory projects as they come up, including filings, process documentation, and export-compliance recordkeeping
