Job summary

CesiumAstro is hiring a Manufacturing Technician II to assemble, inspect, and test products and subassemblies per established procedures. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to maintain quality and on-time production.

You will use hand/power tools, read engineering drawings, and document results in MES/ERP systems, contributing to continuous improvement and safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with hand and power tools for assembly.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and using measuring tools.
• Familiarity with manufacturing documentation and procedures.
• Knowledge of MES/ERP systems like Epicor, SAP, or Solumina.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components per work instructions and drawings.
• Operate production and test equipment to support assembly.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and document quality and process issues.
• Record production, inspection, and traceability data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain flow and quality.
• Support material handling and workstation organization (5S).
• Communicate status and issues to supervisors and team members.
