CesiumAstro is seeking a Manufacturing Technician I to join our team and assist in the assembly, integration, inspection, and testing of hardware for satellites and aerospace systems. You will follow established procedures and work instructions, producing quality products while supporting production activities and cross-functional teams throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Less than 1 year of related experience in manufacturing, production assembly, mechanical/electronics assembly.
• Foundational knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with hand tools, measuring equipment, and documentation.
• Ability to interpret drawings and read work instructions.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components using approved instructions and drawings.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment.
• Perform routine production tasks meeting quality and productivity standards.
• Conduct basic visual and dimensional inspections with measuring tools.
• Verify assemblies meet engineering specifications and quality requirements.
• Record production and inspection data in documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas; support 5S and continuous improvement.
