Job summary

Astranis builds advanced satellites and provides secure networks for global customers. The Winter 2027 Software Defined Radio Hardware Associate role is a twelve‑week, salaried Associate Engineer program for students who have earned a bachelor’s degree or will have done so before starting.

You will design, simulate, implement and test SDR hardware, bring up in the lab, and write code to evaluate performance and automate tests, with integration into the spacecraft team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing (or holding) a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to design, build, and test PCBA hardware from scratch.
• Solid EE foundation in mixed-signal and RF design.
• Hands-on hardware bring-up and lab testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, simulate, implement, and test our internally developed software defined radio hardware.
• Bring up and debug hardware in the lab with top of the line instruments.
• Write code to evaluate performance and automate testing of satellite hardware.
• Integrate these systems into the spacecraft by collaborating with the team.
