Job summary

Astranis is seeking an Associate Engineer (Winter 2027) to design, simulate, implement, and test our software defined radio hardware for space-capable systems. You will bring up hardware in the lab, debug with top instruments, and write code to evaluate performance and automate tests.

This twelve-week salaried position is ideal for graduates in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and offers hands-on space hardware exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on hardware development experience in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to design, build, and test PCBA hardware from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Design, simulate, implement, and test software defined radio hardware.
• Bring up and debug hardware in lab with instruments.
• Write code to evaluate performance and automate testing of satellite hardware.
• Integrate systems into spacecraft with team collaboration.
