Job summary

Astranis, a California-based satellite company, offers a Winter 2027 Software Defined Radio Hardware Intern role. Interns work on hardware/software that may fly on the first satellite and could become full-time.

You will design, simulate, implement and test SDR hardware, perform bringup in the lab, write tests, and integrate systems with the spacecraft team. Currently pursuing an EE degree with hands-on PCBA experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Electrical Engineering degree with hands-on hardware design experience.
• Demonstrated ability to design, build, and test PCBA hardware.
• Solid EE foundation in analog, digital, mixed-signal, and RF design.
• Interest in fast-paced hardware development and lab work.

Responsibilities

• Design, simulate, implement, and test our SDR hardware.
• Bringup and debug hardware in the lab with lab instruments.
• Write code to evaluate performance and automate testing of hardware.
• Integrate systems into the spacecraft working with the team.
