Job summary

Vast is seeking a Logistics Coordinator II in Long Beach to manage inbound/outbound shipments and ensure on-time delivery for aerospace components. You will coordinate domestic and international freight, prepare essential shipping documents, and maintain accurate ERP/MRP records.

The role requires 2+ years in logistics within aerospace or manufacturing, familiarity with ERP systems, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

2+ years of logistics, shipping/receiving, or supply chain experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing.
Knowledge of domestic and international shipping procedures.
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments of aerospace parts, assemblies, tooling, equipment, and marketing materials.
Schedule domestic and international freight with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers.
Package, palletize, label and prepare shipments for various methods of transportation.
Prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, export declarations, and certificates of origin.
Ensure shipments comply with ITAR, EAR, FAA, DOT, IATA, and other applicable regulations.
Track shipments and communicate delivery status while resolving transportation issues as they arise.
