Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking an FPGA Engineer II to contribute to the development of FPGA circuits and systems for satellite and aerospace platforms. You will engage in HDL level design, verification, testing, and deployment, with emphasis on high-speed interfaces and robust verification.

The role requires 2+ years in FPGA design, HDL coding (Verilog/VHDL), and hands-on lab experience. A BS/MS in ECE is preferred, and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 2 years in FPGA design, analysis, and HDL implementation.
• Expertise in Verilog/VHDL and FPGA verification tools.
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF signal generators, and vector signal analyzers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop FPGA circuits and systems through all development phases.
• Perform testing, validation, and verification at the HDL level; integrate high-speed interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a startup-like environment.
