Relativity Space is seeking an Additive Manufacturing Engineer Intern to join the Additive Development and Powder Bed Fusion teams in Long Beach, CA. You’ll assist in developing and validating manufacturing processes for aerospace-grade parts and contribute to optimizing print parameters and workflows.

The role offers exposure to cross-functional engineering, hands-on shop floor work, and real impact on rocket propulsion hardware while you complete your BS/MS in a related field.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS or MS in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Strong CAD skills and ability to create engineering drawings.
• Experience with Python for data analysis.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in cross-functional groups.

Responsibilities

• Assist design, development, and readiness reviews of mechanical and manufacturing systems.
• Build lightweight software tools and perform data analyses to inform decisions.
• Help plan manufacturing and infrastructure, identifying process improvements.
