Job summary

Astranis is seeking an FPGA Intern for Summer 2027 in the United States. Internships last twelve weeks and are hourly roles for students enrolled in a four-year university, offering meaningful hardware/software work that may head to space. If you have already graduated, apply to be an Associate Engineer.

You will design RTL for FPGA applications, work with multiple toolchains, and collaborate with electrical and software engineers to test and validate high-speed hardware.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.S./M.S. in EE/CS/CE or equivalent.
• Hands-on design and development experience in hardware.
• Experience designing, implementing, and testing high-throughput FPGA systems.
• Proficiency with Verilog/SystemVerilog for synthesis.

Responsibilities

• RTL development for FPGA targeted applications.
• Work with multiple FPGAs and toolchains.
• Interface FPGAs with high-speed peripherals.
• Write software to test RTL in hardware.
• Collaborate closely with electrical and software engineers.
