Job summary

Astranis, a Northern California based space tech company, invites you to join as an FPGA Associate for Summer 2027. This 12-week, salaried program gives new grads the chance to tackle meaningful hardware/software challenges on space-bound projects. You will perform RTL development for FPGA applications, work with multiple FPGAs and toolchains, and collaborate with hardware and software engineers.

Candidates should have a B.S. or M.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent.
• A passion for hardware development in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in designing, implementing, and testing high throughput systems on FPGAs.
• Proficiency with Verilog/SystemVerilog for synthesis.
• Don't meet them all? Not a problem.

Responsibilities

• RTL Development for FPGA targeted applications.
• Work with multiple FPGAs and toolchains.
• Interface FPGAs with peripherals including high speed data converters, memories, MCUs.
• Write software to interface and test RTL in hardware.
• Collaborate closely with electrical and software engineers.
