Job summary

Astranis Space Technologies is seeking an FPGA Intern (Summer 2027) to contribute to RTL development for FPGA‑targeted applications. You will work with multiple FPGAs and toolchains, interface FPGAs with high‑speed data converters and memories, and write software to test RTL in hardware.

You will collaborate closely with electrical and software engineers and gain hands‑on experience designing hardware that could fly on our first satellite.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship or Green Card is a legal requirement.
• Pursuing a BS or MS in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent.
• Passion for hardware development in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience designing, implementing, and testing high-throughput systems implemented on FPGAs.
• Proficiency with Verilog/SystemVerilog for synthesis.

Responsibilities

• RTL Development for FPGA targeted applications.
