Job summary

Astranis is seeking an FPGA Intern for Summer 2027 to contribute to RTL development across FPGA targets. You will work with multiple FPGAs and toolchains, interface peripherals, and write software to test RTL in hardware alongside engineers.

This 12-week hourly internship is for students enrolled in a four-year university; US citizenship or eligible status is required for eligibility.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS/MS in electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Verilog/SystemVerilog for synthesis and testing.
• Experience designing, implementing, and testing high-throughput FPGA systems.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced hardware environment.

Responsibilities

• RTL development for FPGA-targeted applications.
• Work with multiple FPGAs and toolchains.
• Interface FPGAs with peripherals including high-speed data converters and memories.
• Write software to interface and test RTL in hardware.
• Collaborate with electrical and software engineers.
