Job summary

ASRC Federal AFSS is seeking a senior Space and Facilities Support Specialist to provide high-level space and facilities support for NASA OCIO at GSFC in Greenbelt, MD. The role involves managing spaces, coordinating IT-relocation needs, and delivering reports for leadership.

The ideal candidate has IT office or government program experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, security-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT offices or government organizations.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move between buildings.
• Excellent oral and written communication to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Manage spaces projects and activities including buildouts, moves, and updates for OCIO spaces.
• Lead potential projects for OCIO spaces at new NASA HQ, subject to RFP review.
• Maintain centralized inventory of spaces and records of space availability and utilization.
• Coordinate IT-related requirements for relocations, including workstation connectivity and equipment.
• Conduct space walkthroughs to identify requirements and opportunities for reconfiguration.
• Prepare status reports and presentations for OCIO and NASA leadership.
• Perform additional duties as required.
