Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking a Senior Space & Facilities Support Specialist to support NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD. This role focuses on space management, facility modification processing, and FOM support across the directorate, ensuring efficient use of office and lab spaces and adherence to NASA policies.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree with seven+ years of related experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to navigate

Qualifications

• Experience supporting facilities, space planning, operations, or logistics in a government or complex technical environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to multitask across operations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical, administrative, and leadership personnel.
• Familiarity with NASA facility processes (FM, FOM) preferred but not required.
• Must meet government NAC and citizenship/permanent residency requirements for access to NASA GSFC.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate office, laboratory, and technical space management including moves, space allocations, and reconfigurations.
• Support planning and allocation of lab and technical spaces to meet program needs.
• Maintain space usage, safety, and occupancy compliance; address space-related issues with facilities.
• Manage facility modification (FM) requests through review and approval workflows.
• Assist with Facility Operations & Maintenance (FOM) coordination, tickets, outages, and upgrades.
• Provide cross-organizational logistical support including meeting coordination and building access.
• Prepare summaries and briefings for leadership on facility status and FM/FOM activity pipelines.
