Blue Origin LLC in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Engines Manufacturing Engineer II for the Weekday Night Shift (B Shift). You will lead design-for-manufacturing efforts and translate requirements into robust processes, collaborating with design, quality, supply chain and production to accelerate space vehicle assembly.

Qualifications

• Requires BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university.
• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or process engineering role.
• Ability to create English work instructions and support second shift scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design for manufacturability (DFM), DFA, and DFT for space-grade engines.
• Translate engineering requirements into robust, repeatable manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with design, quality, supply chain, and production teams to accelerate space vehicle production.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation (work instructions, process flows, tool designs, inspection plans).
• Evaluate new manufacturing technologies and methods (machining, welding, brazing, additive manufacturing, advanced assembly).
• Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to enhance reliability and performance.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO 9001 quality standards and safety.
