Job summary

Trident Systems Space Electronic Systems (SES) division seeks a General Technician in Sterling, VA. You will support manufacturing, assemble ground support equipment, prototypes, and maintain lab equipment, collaborating with engineers and quality teams to advance spaceflight electronics.

The role offers growth opportunities and exposure to DoD and space customers. Entry to mid-level candidates accepted; strong soldering and microscope skills preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0–6 years of technician work experience.
• Familiarity with CCA SMT soldering 0402 or larger components.

Responsibilities

• Use hand and power tools (cutters, tweezers, crimpers, soldering irons, wire strippers).
• Support overtime and weekend work occasionally.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment per procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to address issues.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures.
• Work within a team assembling products for customers.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
