Job summary

Trident Systems Inc. in Chantilly, VA is seeking an Aerospace Electronics Assembly Technician to assemble, inspect and test high-reliability space/electronic hardware in a manufacturing setting.

You will perform precision tasks including cable/harness fabrication, soldering, and documentation following strict quality standards. The role requires hands-on experience with electronics/cable assemblies, soldering/desoldering, and familiarity with standards like J-STD-001 and IPC/WHMA-A-620.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Level B requires 4+ years related experience or 2 yrs post-secondary with 0–2 yrs related.
• Level C requires 6+ years related experience or 2 yrs post-secondary with 2 yrs related.
• Experience with electronics or cable assemblies.
• Experience with circuit board soldering/desoldering.
• Experience with masking, conformal coating, connector potting, or component bonding.
• Proficient with Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical product per instructions.
• Follow written instructions to execute tasks.
• Identify problems and resolve straightforward issues.
• Perform wiring harness and cable assembly with continuity checks.
• Apply J-STD-001 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
• Use small hand tools, calibrated equipment, soldering/desoldering equipment, and meters.
• Maintain records per good documentation practices.
• Attention to detail and quality.
• Follow material handling procedures.
• Willing to perform other tasks as assigned.
