Job summary

TRIDENT SYSTEMS LLC in Chantilly, VA seeks an Aerospace Electronics Assembly Technician to assemble, inspect, and test high-rel space and defense hardware. You will work from engineering docs, perform precision cable and harness fabrication, soldering, and related production tasks while ensuring quality and workmanship.

The candidate should be detail-oriented, hands-on, and able to contribute to a collaborative manufacturing environment delivering mission-critical hardware.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• Level B: 4 years related experience or 2 yrs post-secondary / associates with 0–2 yrs prior related experience.
• Level C: 6 years related experience or 2 yrs post-secondary / associates with 2 yrs prior related experience.
• Experience with electronics or cable assemblies.
• Experience with circuit board soldering and desoldering.
• Experience with masking, conformal coating, connector potting, component staking, or component bonding.
• Basic ability in the utilization of computer software such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical product in accordance with engineering instructions, manuals, and training.
• Follow written instructions to execute tasking in a standard and repeatable manner.
• Identify problems and issues in straightforward situations and use judgement to resolve them.
• Perform wiring harness and cable assembly, including continuity checks on final assemblies.
• Apply technical standards such as J-STD-001 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 to ensure compliance.
• Use small hand tools, calibrated equipment, soldering/desoldering equipment, and meters.
• Maintain records of work with proper documentation practices.
• Highlight strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Follow documented processes for handling materials.
