Job summary

Trident Systems Space Electronic Systems (SES) division is hiring a General Technician in Sterling, VA to support the manufacture of existing product lines, assembly of Ground Support Equipment, prototype unit work, and lab maintenance. You’ll collaborate with engineers, quality control, and leadership to grow within spaceflight electronics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0–6 years of technician work experience.
• Familiarity with SMT soldering 0402+ and through-hole components.
• Ability to use a microscope and fine hand tools.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to processes.
• Ability to sit at a workstation for long shifts (up to 10 hours).

Responsibilities

• Use hand and power tools including cutters, tweezers, crimpers, soldering irons, and wire strippers.
• Support overtime and weekend work occasionally.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment per procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to address issues.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe workplace.
• Work among a team assembling products for customers.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
