Job summary

Rocket Lab in Pasadena, California is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to join the on-site team for a 12-week program. You will support hardware bring-up, laboratory testing, prototype assembly, embedded firmware validation, data collection and analysis, and troubleshooting of motor control systems.

You will work with mentors, participate in frequent 1:1s, attend tech talks and network with other interns and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master's or doctorate degree program in an engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related discipline and have at least one semester of school remaining post internship
• GPA of 3.0 or above
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, laboratory, and personal/team project experience is applicable)

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge to hardware bring-up, laboratory testing, prototype assembly, embedded firmware validation, data collection and analysis, and troubleshooting of motor control systems
• Work with mentors to apply engineering concepts to real challenges
• Attend regular 1:1s and participate in tech talks and networking events
• Support a fast-paced team with collaborative problem solving
