Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in Pasadena, CA. You will support hardware bring-up, lab testing, prototype assembly, embedded firmware validation, and data analysis for motor control systems.

You'll work with mentors in a fast-paced team, attend tech talks, and contribute to real hardware challenges while developing professionally during a 12+ week on-site internship.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master's or doctorate degree program in an engineering-related discipline and have at least one semester remaining after internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab, or projects) applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hardware bring-up and laboratory testing.
• Prototype assembly and embedded firmware validation.
• Data collection and analysis, and troubleshooting of motor control systems.
• Collaborate with mentors and teams to deliver results.
