Job summary

Rocket Lab USA is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for its Long Beach site. You will contribute to the development and test of avionics hardware for spacecraft programs, collaborating with engineers across disciplines."

You'll work under a mentor, participate in all stages from requirements to production, and join tech talks and intern events as you grow technically and professionally.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor's, master's or doctorate degree program in engineering and have at least one semester remaining post internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above required.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab, or projects).

Responsibilities

• Work with a mentor and department to apply knowledge and grow technically and professionally.
• Collaborate with a fast-paced group to apply engineering concepts to real challenges.
• Attend regular 1:1s with mentors to facilitate success and track progress.
• Participate in tech talks and intern/networking events.

Education

Engineering degree program (Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate) with at least one semester remaining

GPA 3.0 or above

3+ months of applied engineering experience
