Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect with a background in the Space industry and cloud computing to help space companies achieve their missions through cloud solutions.

You will lead architecture reviews, workshops, and technical guidance, collaborating with account management, professional services, and the AWS partner ecosystem to deliver mission-critical outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure)
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• 10+ years of IT development or consulting in software or Internet industries
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to accelerate their missions and recommend best-practice architectures.
• Build technical relationships with customers and operate as their trusted advisor.
• Share the voice of the customer to inform the AWS feature roadmap.
• Create and share best practices, technical content and reference architectures (e.g., white papers, code samples, blog posts).
• Evangelise and educate about AWS technology through workshops, events, and conferences.
• Contribute to the growth of the Solutions Architecture team by mentoring and evaluating candidates.
• Develop areas of depth in technical domains relevant to customer outcomes.
