Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to help space companies leverage cloud technology across launch services, human spaceflight, satellite constellations and more.

You will lead architecture reviews, deliver prescriptive guidance, and evangelize AWS capabilities while engaging executives and technical teams. You will collaborate with account management, professional services, and product teams, with occasional travel to customer sites and AWS locations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology domains (software, cloud, infra, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years in design, implementation or consulting of applications and infrastructure.
• 10+ years IT development or implementation/consulting in software/Internet industries.
• Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.
• Current, active US Government Top Secret clearance or higher.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to accelerate missions and recommend best-practice architectures.
• Build technical relationships and act as trusted advisor to customers.
• Share voice of the customer to inform AWS feature roadmaps.
• Create and share best practices, white papers, code samples, blog posts.
• Evangelise and educate about AWS technology through workshops, groups, meetups or conferences.
• Contribute to growing Solutions Architecture by interviewing candidates and sharing knowledge.
• Develop depth in technical domains relevant to customer outcomes.
