Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks an experienced Solutions Architect with a space industry and cloud computing background to help space companies achieve their missions using AWS. You will engage with customers to design architectures, present best practices, and lead technical workshops while collaborating with multiple AWS teams.

You will advise on security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency, building prescriptive cloud solutions and contributing to knowledge sharing

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technology domains (software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to accelerate missions and recommend best-practice architectures for long-term outcomes.
• Build technical relationships and act as a trusted advisor to customers.
• Share the voice of the customer to inform AWS feature roadmaps.
• Participate in creating and sharing best practices, technical content and reference architectures.
• Evangelise and educate about AWS technology through workshops, groups, meetups, and conferences.
• Contribute to growth of the Solutions Architecture org by interviewing candidates and aiding skill development.
• Develop areas of depth in technical domains relevant to customer outcomes.
