Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect with a space industry and cloud background to help space companies achieve missions using AWS cloud technologies.

You'll lead architecture reviews, develop prescriptive guidance, and build strong customer relationships across diverse projects. Travel up to 25% may be required as you collaborate with teams and customers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas experience.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience.
• Experience working with end user or developer communities.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to accelerate their missions and recommend best-practice architectures in line with their long-term business outcomes.
• Build technical relationships with customers and operate as their trusted advisor.
• Share the voice of the customer to inform the roadmap of AWS features.
• Participate in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content and new reference architectures.
• Evangelise and educate about AWS technology through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos or conferences.
• Contribute to the growth of the Solutions Architecture organisation by interviewing candidates and helping others develop new skills.
• Develop areas of depth in technical domains relevant to your interests and customer outcomes.
