Job summary

AIRE Ancient Baths on the Upper East Side in New York seeks an Assistant Therapist Supervisor to lead therapists and maintain service excellence across the spa operations. You will manage shift schedules, coordinate with the Bath Area, and ensure guest experiences meet luxury standards.

Responsibilities include daily briefings, incident leadership, payroll validation, and team development. Night and weekend availability are required, with growth opportunities in a prestige wellness environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years leading teams of massage therapists or wellness practitioners in spa/hospitality environments.
• Experience with coaching, 1:1s, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and strong verbal/written communication.

Responsibilities

• Create and adjust Therapist & Links schedules during shifts per SOP.
• Coordinate between Therapists and Bath Area to ensure timely services and guest flow.
• Lead AM/PM briefings and document notes in the system.
• Perform daily operational checks (rooms, baths, grooming, consumables) and provide a thorough handover.
• Communicate updates with Front Desk, Housekeeping, Facilities, Bath Area leaders.
• Step in as department leader in the manager's absence to maintain continuity.
• Lead during incidents or emergencies and follow protocols.
• Perform MOD duties as required.
