Job summary

WPR is seeking a Spa Supervisor to lead daily spa operations and act as an active LMT within the team. You will ensure treatment standards, guest satisfaction, staffing, and a professional spa environment.

The role requires Utah Massage Therapist license, CPR/AED, and a track record in spa leadership. You will manage bookings, assist with hiring, and coach staff while maintaining confidentiality and safety.

Qualifications

• Requires Utah Massage Therapist license and CPR/AED certification.
• Esthetician license not required.
• Must pass annual comprehensive background check.
• Ability to lead and manage spa staff and operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform massage therapy and approved spa treatments as part of the LMT team.
• Assist Director in developing spa programs, menus, and SOPs.
• Develop and refine treatment protocols for consistent high-quality service.
• Assess and recommend new treatments, products, equipment, and pricing.
• Manage spa bookings and communicate reservation needs to members and guests.
• Assist with member/guest arrivals, bookings, and payments as needed.
• Recruit, interview, and hire massage therapists and spa staff.
• Train, supervise, coach, and provide performance feedback to staff.
• Supervise operational aspects of massage therapists and estheticians, per licensure.
• Create and manage staff schedules, approve time-off, and adjust staffing.
• Monitor timekeeping and hours reporting.
• Maintain a positive, professional team culture.
• Ensure spa cleanliness, stocking, and readiness of rooms and supplies.
• Monitor supplies, par levels, and coordinate ordering.
• Oversee linen/laundry coordination and inventory.
• Enforce treatment protocols, sanitation, safety, and policies.
• Process intake forms, waivers, and confidential records accurately.
• Address member concerns and resolve issues with Director approval.
• Monitor bookings, room utilization, staffing, and spa revenue.
• Support annual budgeting and staffing planning with Director.
• Participate in Village Services meetings and coordinate with leadership.
• Communicate daily operations and member feedback to Director.
