Job summary

Montage International is seeking an Assistant Spa Director to manage day-to-day operations and develop long-term directions for the spa department within a luxury hotel environment. The role entails leading a talent-driven team, maintaining superior guest service, and aligning with the hotel's Vision, Mission and Values.

Responsibilities include staffing, performance coaching, financial oversight, departmental SOPs, and initiatives to increase revenue while maintaining luxury standards.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 3 years spa management experience in a luxury hotel or resort environment required, with a strong emphasis in customer service.

Responsibilities

• Screening and selecting qualified spa candidates, communicating performance expectations and providing feedback.
• Mentoring Associates and conducting official performance reviews to reach objectives.
• Overseeing operations across Therapy rooms, Guest Reception, Fitness, Pool and Spa Retail.
• Developing and monitoring financial strategies to increase revenues while controlling expenses.
• Coordinating training programs and ensuring the facility is maintained to luxury spa standards.
• Building partnerships with vendors for pricing, technical support, training and promotions.
