Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive spa management experience in luxury settings.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and guest satisfaction goals.
  • Analyze financial reports, KPIs, and market data to identify opportunities for growth and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and revenue management teams to optimize pricing, promotions, and package offerings.
  • Manage annual budgeting, forecasting, and labor planning for the spa department.
  • Oversee guest experience standards and maintain spa facilities.
  • Recruit, train, and develop spa staff.
  • Ensure health, safety, and licensing compliance.

The Spa Director will lead all aspects of this dynamic and high volume spa by driving revenue growth, elevating guest satisfaction, and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. This individual will oversee the daily operations, financial performance, team development, and strategic direction of the spa to ensure it remains a premier wellness destination in the market.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Financial Management
  • Develop and execute business strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and guest satisfaction goals.
  • Analyze financial reports, KPIs, and market data to identify opportunities for growth and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and revenue management teams to optimize pricing, promotions, and package offerings.
  • Manage annual budgeting, forecasting, and labor planning for the spa department.
Guest Experience & Service Excellence
  • Ensure every guest interaction reflects luxury service standards and a personalized approach to wellness.
  • Continuously innovate the spa menu, treatments, and experiences based on current wellness trends and guest feedback.
  • Oversee the maintenance of spa facilities and ambiance, ensuring a pristine and relaxing environment.
  • Handle guest feedback with professionalism, turning challenges into opportunities for improvement.
Team Development & Culture Building
  • Recruit, train, and inspire a diverse team of spa professionals committed to excellence and hospitality.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, respect, and accountability within the department.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and develop career growth plans for key team members.
  • Lead by example, setting a positive tone that motivates and energizes the team.
Operational Excellence
  • Maintain full compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, inventory management, and product selection to ensure premium quality and brand alignment.
  • Implement and monitor operational SOPs to maintain consistency and efficiency.
Industry Engagement
  • Stay informed on emerging wellness, spa, and hospitality trends to keep the resort at the forefront of innovation.
  • Build partnerships with leading wellness brands, practitioners, and influencers.
