Equinox in Berkeley is seeking a Spa Manager on Duty to help ensure a memorable guest experience, greet guests, orient them to the spa facilities, and provide personal service. This learning role trains you for the Spa Coordinator position.

Under supervision, you will support daily spa operations, contribute to sales, maintain cleanliness, and assist with staffing, training, and outreach events. The role requires availability for 30 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Massage Therapy or Esthetics License.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• Able to be efficient in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and money handling skills.
• Computer skills and comfort with software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily spa operations under supervision.
• Contribute to achieving spa sales goals through product and service upsell.
• Provide superior guest service to members, prospects and spa guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and esthetic appeal of the spa area.
• Work opening/closing shifts; 30 hours per week (5 days, 6 hours).
• Assist with staffing and handling basic member issues.
• Respond to emails, calls and voicemails promptly and professionally.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with members and guests.
• Help manage inventory and restock spa supplies.
• Assist with training and onboarding of new staff.
• Help schedule staff for the Spa department.
• Support outreach events to promote performance results.
• Coordinate with maintenance on spa cleanliness and policies.
